# Active sessions (/docs/account/sessions)

**Active sessions** in `/settings` lists every device signed in to your account, with its browser
and operating system and when it signed in. The device you are using is marked **This device**.

- Choose **Sign out** next to a device to end that session.
- Choose **Sign out all other devices** to end every session except this one.

Sign out any device you do not recognize, then change your password.

When you change your password under **Password**, **Sign out of all other devices** is ticked by
default; leave it ticked unless you are sure every listed device is yours. Resetting a forgotten
password by email always signs out your other devices.
