# Settings and sign out (/docs/account/settings)

Open `/settings` to update the displayed profile name, review the account email and verification
state, request a password reset, change theme, or install the PWA where supported. Choose **Sign
out** to end the current session.

Because the session cookie is shared across approved project subdomains, signing in and out
affects the web app, admin console, developer platform, and API session together.
